So being humble and having the willingness to learn from other people is of great importance to a person’s development. Secondly, being modest can earn respect from others. Respect is reciprocal, so a humble person who shows respect for other people will be respected in return. Thirdly, pride is a mortal enemy of success, which could do nothing helpful but cloud one’s vision, and ultimately lead to failure.
    So all in all, we should never lose our humility at any time. Only in this way can we make progress and gain respect from others.
