Big websites are accessed by more people, so the authenticity of the information will be examined by many as well. The content providers of big websites are probably more professional and ethical in terms of providing reliable information. Official websites are usually a good choice as well. For example, the medical information provided by the NHS website seems much more reliable to me than other websites. However, I still have some doubts about finding reliable information online, especially when the information you want to get is of a sensitive nature, for example, counselling and medical information.
