How to evaluate the training currently provided There are several criteria for evaluation: To what extent were the learners’ objectives achieved; What commitments have the learners made about the learning they are going to implement on their return to work; How successful were the trainees in implementing their action plans; and etc.
How to set about meeting training needs
There are two ways. First of all, you should ask trainees themselves. The purpose of this is to establish the exact level of skill and knowledge each member of staff currently possesses compared to the expertise required by the business. And secondly, you should consult trainers and human resources staff. They could provide better suggestions.
