答案     Over the past ten years, the way to bring about social change and to influence societal attitudes has changed a lot. With the development of information technology, the mass media is playing a more and more important role. First there was the telegraph, then the radio, the newspaper, magazines, television and now the internet, which provides a wider stage for the growth of public opinion and the voice of people.
    We live in a society that depends on information and communication to keep moving in the right direction and do our daily activities. People usually put their trust on the media as an authority and make their decisions based on current news and facts we got.
    As is mentioned before, the mass media has a huge impact on society and also in public opinion. For example, after the attacks of Kunming event, the media gave a huge coverage of the event and exposed separatists in Xinjiang guilty for the attack as they were told by the authorities. This shaped the public opinion to support the war on terrorism.
    In a word, of all the media distribution channels the most influential one has been the internet. We should make good use of such methods to best influence public opinions.
