答案 　　I help him with his English homework once in a while. Jimmy is a little chubby, and like all other children, he likes snacks. But his family can’t afford to buy him too much chocolate. Once I gave him a chocolate bar as an award for finishing grammar homework. He thanked me a lot but turned me down. He said he’d prefer to get the award for some bigger achievements, like getting full marks in exams. His parents work long hours and they don’t take him out very often even on holidays. But the kid knows how to have fun at home. He tends to the plants on the balcony mostly. He once gave me a small succulent that he had plants as a gift on Teacher’s Day. I was surprised at how much he knew about taking care of succulent plants just from the Internet and his observations. He told me that he wants to be a botanist one day. He’s indeed a smart kid.
　　I like Jimmy very much. I think he has some qualities that make him stand out from his peers. Although he doesn’t own the best computer or schoolbag, he has curiosity about the world and longs to find the answer to any question. He once asked me about the process of a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. I didn’t know too much about it, so he turned to the Internet, libraries and documentaries for more information. He even went to the local botanical garden to ask the gardeners about it. When he finally got the answer, he was very excited. I think this inquiring mind is missing in many adults. In a way, Jimmy is my teacher who teaches me to remain interested in the world and keep the passion for truth-seeking.
