   Rain is an important resource of the underground water, and it also does good to the grain. But every year many areas suffer from the disastrous flood because of the heavy rain. Write an article entitled "advantages and disadvantages of rain ’. In the first part of your writing you should present your thesis statement, and in the second part you should support the thesis statement with appropriate details. In the last part you should bring what you have written to a natural conclusion or a summary.
   Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriacy.

     Raining, as we all know, is a kind of natural phenomenon caused by the condensation of steam. Different seasons have different rainfall that varies in different places, which result in various climates in everywhere of the world. But the rain brings both benefits and harm.
     At fast, it can regulate the climate when the air is very dry, and the soil, which likes a sponge, absorbs the moist of rain. Owing to the rain, the plant can grow quickly and we feel lively things around us all the time. Connected with this point, the rain is more beneficial to the farm crop; it protects farm plants from the drought. Speaking wildly, agriculture is in dominant position in our country; it  closely related to our life, especially to one who has a large number of populations. So the ,rain is indispensable to our ,agric lture. The last, but not the least, the rain can clear the air and the surface of the earth. Nowadays, pollutions can be seen in every where. The rain, as a silent ’clearer who is only aware of giving, brushes the land dustiness, makes people breathe fresh air freely, and beautifies our cities become more and, more beautiful. So many advantages confirm you that raining is very important in our life.
     On the other hand, too much rain leads to disasters. Every year during the rainy season, rain pours down day and night, filling the rivers and lakes with so much water that floods are formed. Crops are drowned, houses are destroyed, and even people are killed. It is estimated that the casuaties caused by flood amount to billions of dollars each year in China.
     On the whole, we should utilize advantages and avoid or improve disadvantages. The most important thing I want to suggest is: please protecting our environment, or mankind is committing suicide
