问题 The parliamentary election was held on______ [br]
Ethiopia’s two main opposition parties claimed victory Wednesday in parliamentary elections seen as a test of the African nation’s commitment to democracy, saying they have won enough seats to form a government.
The claim came a day after Ethiopia’ s ruling party said it had won just over half the parliamentary seats in Sunday’s vote, acknowledging opposition gains but insisting it would remain in power.
The National Electoral Board was not immediately available to comment on the claims said to be projected from tallies drawn up by party monitors at individual polling stations at which results have been posted. The board has said it will not issue provisional results until Saturday. Official and final results are to be announced on June 8.
On Wednesday, the main opposition party, the Coalition for Unity and Democracy, said it had won in most of the constituencies where the ballots had been counted and the trend was it will have enough seats to form the government.

选项 A、acknowledged the opposition party’ s victory
