    To help others when they are in difficulties is considered to be a virtue in our country. Even in today’s society in which people tend to value money more than ever before, some people help others out in a crisis, even risking their lives.
    However many others choose to keep silence and turn a blind eye to a crisis. They think that to take up the cudgels for a just cause often bring themselves into danger and what’s more, the help given can not bring them any benefits but hurt. From time to time, news comes that some heroic actions are not recognized by the government and those heroes cannot get any rewards from either those who get help or the government. Even worse, some heroes are seriously wounded but are let alone in hospitals, having no money to pay for the large amount of medical fees.
    In my opinion, to take up the cudgels for a just cause is the duty of every one of us as social beings. Suppose we ourselves are in danger, do we want help from others? Meanwhile rewards from the government should be more generous, not only for those who have already sacrificed their lives but also for those who are willing to give others a hand. It is also important to call on people to learn from those heroes and encourage more people to stand up to crime and crises. Then we can create a society rich in not only wealth but warmth.
