    Nowadays people are using less and less paper money. Instead they have many ways of using money electronically. Their wages and salaries are paid to an account at the bank and they can check the amount of deposited money through ATM. They can buy things with credit cards. They can pay their bills through the telephones or Internet.  They can even buy things on websites and pay the price by electronic money.
    There are many advantages in using electronic money. First, if electronic money takes the place of paper money, the government can save the trouble and the cost of printing banknotes. Second, using electronic money can effectively extinguish counterfeit banknote. Third, the transaction can be completed almost in an instant since electronic money is deposited and drawn through devices of advanced technologies.
    Therefore, electronic money should be promoted widely. First, more facilities should be installed so that electronic money can be used more conveniently. Second, the security of using electronic money should be improved because thefts or frauds of electronic money still occurs usually. So better security technologies should be developed Third, establish a good electronic banking system is the final goal. Such a system will make electronic money circulate as well as paper money or better.
