    I am writing this letter in the hope that you can provide me with some advice in regard to my graduate dissertation.
    I am presently majoring in English literature, and wish to write on Analysis of Hamlet’s Character for my graduate dissertation. I believe it is a good choice, because I am really interested in Hamlet, one of Shakespeare’s greatest works. And Hamlet’s character is quite controversial. There is much to write about and the study of it will be of great academic value. Please inform me whether the study is proper or not.
    In addition, I should be very obliged to you if you would kindly furnish me with the details concerning the general requirements for the graduate dissertation.
