     (1) The electricity in the dormitory of some colleges is cut off after midnight to ensure students to go to bed early. Some people agree with this conduct for it is beneficial for students’ daytime study; (2) while some argue that this regulation imposes restrictions on students’ private life.
     (3) For me, I agree with the latter opinion. First, since a college student is already an adult, he can arrange his work and rest schedule. Second, now people’ s life relies on electricity very much. It is inconvenient when a student needs to use an appliance but the electricity is unavailable. Third, sometimes a student may study late. Without electricity, he cannot finish his assignment on time and this is not good for his study.
     (4) Hence, colleges should abandon this unnecessary operation and offer 24-hour electricity supply to students.
