    Since China’s entry into the World Trade Organization ( WTO), some industries in China have bloomed very quickly, while others have declined, and even gone bankrupt. So we can see that the WTO entry brings China chances as well as challenges.
    Why does China’s entry into WTO bring such complicated two-sided effects? On one hand, China’s accession marks China’s integrating into the world economy. Because of this, China can enjoy a variety of imported products, advanced science and technology, and modern management. And our own products will also have an easy access to the market. In addition, the WTO entry can promote reform of our enterprises and make them more alive and competitive. So undoubtedly, our entry into WTO provides a lot of opportunities. On the other hand, we need to meet some challenges as well. As is known to all, "every coin has two sides". With the entry, fierce competition from foreign countries will make some less compelitive enterprises in China lose their market, which may result in their bankruptcy, and lead to the unemployment of millions of Chinese workers. What’s more, the WTO accession also poses a big challenge to our security system.
    From the above analysis, we can see that China’s entry into WTO provides us with chances as well as challenges, which we should carefully take into consideration and prudently deal with. We have to maximize favorable factors and minimize unfavorable ones. We believe a vigorous economy and higher standards of living are net far away.
