答案     As is shown in the picture, two automobiles are giving off enormous poisonous gas while running on a highway. Consequently, three passers-by beside are covering their faces with their hands because the air is too polluted for their health.
    Naturally enough, the poisonous gas the automobiles emit is linked with one of the most serious problem suffered by people living in the urban area: air pollution. Due to excessive air pollution, the air quality is worsening off. So the more cars people are driving, the more serious the pollution becomes. If this trend continues, people will live in a polluted city. By that time, like what has happened to the passers-by in the cartoon above, urban residents will suffer from severe air degradation.
    It is essential that some measure be taken to put fume emission on hold. For one thing, government departments concerned must tighten rules to regulate the emission of exhausted gas by automobiles. For another thing, engineers are expected to improve their designs to produce more gas saving and low emissive cars. only in this way can it be possible that a clean environment returns to our city.
