    This is a picture that would leave deep impression on those who see it. The child who got 99 angered his mother because the full mark wasn’t attained, therefore depressed and frustrated feeling will torture the child’s heart with confidence being slowly worn away. However, the child who got 59 pleased his father because merely one more point would make the child pass the exam. The marks between two children are quite different while their parents’ attitude of optimism and pessimism produced accordingly is more different.
    The picture is similar to another story. In torrid desert a traveller happened to find half a bottle of water and shouted; "That’s too bad, why is there only half a bottle of water left? It’s far from enough. " However, when another traveller encountered the same situation, he cheered: "Great, there is half a bottle of water left, enough to support me for some time. " The two entirely different attitudes toward life determine a person’s future. In this picture, we can see that parents play key roles in their children’s education, and their optimism or pessimism is bound to be passed to the next generation, therefore the two children’s development in the future can be predicted. The child who got 59 paints may perform better in the next exam, while the other who got 99 may be worse next time under great pressure.
    We’d better remember that life is not all roses. The key is not what kind of life you have, but how you deal with it. Optimistic parents are good at creating a good growing environment so that their children will be brave to confront all sorts of challenges in their future life.
