    Recently, a newspaper carried an article entitled: "We Should No Longer Force Gong Li and Zhang Yimou to Take Part in National Politics". The article argued that some artists and film stars are unwilling or unqualified to represent the people in the People’s Congress or the People’s Political Consultative Conference, and they should not be forced to do so. What do you think?

答案                         Celebrities Shouldn’t Take Part in National Politics
   Recently, there has been proposal that Gong Li and Zhang Yimou take part in the National Polities for the great contribution they have done to the entertainment field. Some people are strongly against it; they think that celebrities are not qualified to be representatives in the People’s Congress.  Other people are in favor of their taking-part-in, because they think the celebrities are well known and influential.  As far as I’m concerned, I cannot support the celebrities’ entering the political fields.    First and foremost, celebrities are not qualified to be politicians.  They are excellent in entertainment or arts, but they may not have enough knowledge or experience in dealing with political events.  If they enter the political field, they may make serious mistakes.
   Second, celebrities have already left a strong impression in people’s mind as actors or artists, and even if they take part in the politics, people still will treat them as actors or artists, then the original stateliness of political career will be undermined.
   Thirdly, celebrities are very influential, and people show strong zeal for them, so they may easily be affected by the speech or behaviors of the celebrity politicians and thus support the speeches or behaviors, blindly, whether they are right or wrong.  This will cause chaos in the political field.
   Besides, some celebrities are very content with their career in the entertainment field, and they are not willing to leave their loved career and start an unacquainted one.
   To do what kind of career, people have their own choices and people are good at different things, we should respect their own choices and let them stay at their fight positions. So celebrities should not enter or be forced to enter the political field.
