答案             Should Private Car Owners Be Taxed For Pollution?
    With the rapid increase of private cars, the quality of air condition is decreasing day by day. Running on the city roads are cars which produce large amount of poisonous fumes, black smoke and unbearable traffic jams. A heated discussion has been aroused about whether the private car owners should be taxed. As for me, "pollution tax" isn’t reasonable for those car owners and can’t really help to solve the pollution problems. The followings are my reasons.
    Firstly, if private car owners are taxed for pollution, it would lead to the public traffic system paralyzed. Because many people will choose the public transports more often and use cars less. By then, it will be a headache for the traffic police to face the public transport paralysis and the crowd, so it may affect the efficiency in many aspects. Secondly, job and life pressure have already made people out of breath. If the governments carry out this tax policy, it is no doubt that the "pollution tax" will just turn to be a heavy economic burden on ordinary people. Finally, it is not reasonable to have people taxed again when people have already paid a large amount of taxes.
    To sum up, private car owners should not be taxed for pollution. The tax on the owners of private cars is not appropriate in all cases. It cannot get rid of the root of the problem. The government should take some effective measures more seriously to consider whether carrying it or not. It’s just my own opinions about disagreement.
