Apart from high teaching quality, the elements of good education also include favorable learning atmosphere, structured daily and classroom routines, and dedicated and caring support staff, etc. Therefore, tailoring education specifically to girls does not necessarily guarantee better academic performance.
    Next, girls’ school is indeed unnecessary. Every individual student, be they girls or boys, develops at slightly different speeds, but few would thus advocate education should be tailored specifically to each of them. In fact, school curriculums are flexible enough and can be moulded to suit both girls and boys, faster and slower learners in co-educational schools.
    Lastly, as pointed out by the opponents, girls’ schools isolate girls and deprive them of the real world which will render it difficult for girls to deal with the opposite sex. As it is, girls’ schools expose girls only to other girls, which means that girls do not have enough opportunities to know and get along with boys. This can be detrimental to girls as they might be less capable of dealing with emotional issues and having healthy relationships with boys when they grow up.
    In conclusion, girls’ schools do not prove to be effective, and it is not only unnecessary but harmful. Therefore, it’s not advisable that such schools be established.
