Car accidents which happens between______are more than expected number.
Women drivers are more likely to be involved in accidents, according to scientists. (18) Researchers look into 6. 5 million car crashes and find a higher than expected number of accidents between two female drivers. (19) They discover that women have a tough time negotiating crossroads. Their cars are often hit on the left-hand side when they are trying to make a right-hand turn, thus they are more likely to crash at crossroads. Dr. Sivak says this mainly due to height difference between two sexes. The result is even surprising to find that men spend more time behind the wheel than women. On average, men drive 60 percent of their time, and women 40 percent. Dr. Sivak and his colleague Brandon Schoettle make a study of data from a representative sample of police-reported crashes in the USA from 1988 to 2007. They had expected to find that accidents involving two male drivers would make up 36. 2 percent of all crashes, while two female accidents would account for 15. 8 percent and male/female 48 percent. (20)Instead, they discover that accidents involving two female drivers are 20. 5 percent, while male/male crashes are much lower at 31. 9 percent, accidents involving male and female drivers stands at 47. 6 percent as expected. There are three dominant driver-related factors, including the probability of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, one’s own driving skills and driving skills of the other driver involved.

A 本题用赋值法更简捷: 因为曲线过点(0,1),所以将点(0,1)的坐标代入四个选项,只有选项A成立,即 02-e0+2=1,故选A.
