   How long should my resume be?
   Some employment consultants advise candidates to prepare no more than a one-page resume. However, depending on your education and job experience, you may want to include a second page. Online resume can exceed a page. A good rule of thumb is that if you have more than one degree beyond high school and if you have held more than two full-time professional jobs, you will probably need a two-page resume to present your experience adequately. You might want to experiment with preparing a two-page chronological resume, or a one-page bullet resume.
   Balancing Education and Experience
   If you have years of experience, don’t flood your future employer with too many details. You cannot possibly include every detail of your job(s) for the last ten or twenty years. Emphasize only those skills and positions most likely to earn you the job. Eliminate your earliest jobs that do not relate to your present employment search.
