    This graph indicates the change in the percentage of the population over 18 years old in City A that listened to radio or viewed television shows in a day during the period from October to December 2005.
    According to this graph, television audiences are at a low in the early morning hours, but rise gradually to about 10 percent from 8 to 10 a.m. After a slight drop around lunchtime, audiences begin a fairly steady climb to the peak audienceship in the hours from 6 to 10 p.m. at approximately 40-45 percent. A sharp decline follows to the over-night low of about 5 percent between 2 to 4 a.m.
    Different from television audiences, radio audiences in this city peak in the morning, with about 30 percent of the population over 18 years tuning-in to radio broadcasts at 8 a.m. The audienceship drops gradually from this peak and at 2 p.m. it begins to fall lower than television audienceship, it continues to decline throughout the evening until reaching a low point at 2 p.m.
    This graph demonstrates the dominance of television among the electronic media. During a typical day, the percentage of television viewers is higher than that of radio listeners except in the morning. This deserves a special attention from those who are involved in medium using.
