答案     Nowadays the teacher appraisal system, which is considered to be one of the most important criteria to assess a teacher’s teaching quality, is adopted by many universities around China. A recent survey indicates that this appraisal system of teachers is very helpful to improve university education.
    To start with, the appraisal system helps teachers to reflect on their teaching processes and methods, which in turn will enable teachers to improve their teaching and enhance their teaching effectiveness. Furthermore, the appraisal system provides students with opportunities to reveal their feelings of their teachers on a fair and effective basis, which will help to improve the interaction between teachers and students. Finally, a well-designed, properly functioning teacher appraisal system provides a good way for the university to know more of its faculty.
    As a university student, I totally applaud the appraisal system of teachers which is designed to improve university teaching. However, I believe this appraisal system should not be attached too much importance to and should be considered reasonably with other criteria.
