    The job market for college graduates is getting tighter and tighter. According to a survey, only 88 percent of college  graduates of the Class of 2001 found jobs the year they graduated, compared with 96 percent in 1999. Why do college graduates find it increasingly difficult to get jobs?
    One reason is the coming of the boom of. college graduates, resulting in tile oversupply of graduates in certain specialties.  Another reason is connected with their attitude towards employment. Many graduates put earnings above anything  else. They aim at well-paid position in large corporations in big cities. As a result, the competition in these cities’ job markets becomes more intense.
    In fact, college graduates are valuable resources in our country. The problem deserves more attention. On the one hand, the employment centers and college authorities should play a key role. On the other hand, it is important for graduates to have a correct attitude.
