If you want to escape for the Valentine’s Day weekend but don’t want to go far, you may want to check into a nearby bed and breakfast. You can leave home without having to travel too far. B&Bs are getting ready for a big weekend of love.
Many B&Bs help men propose and offer weddings. Whatever you are looking for in love, most B&Bs can offer it to you. In fact, innkeepers are reporting an annual surge in bookings already.
"Innkeepers pride themselves on providing the most romantic accommodations possible," says Mary White, president, BnBFinder.com, "They’ll offer to help make the occasion perfect, and do whatever it takes. And it works. Many innkeepers tell us their bookings soar this time of year, especially when President’s Day is the following weekend." If it’s popping the question you are interested in this holiday, many B&Bs will help you out.
One innkeeper in Tennessee says he has helped come up with creative ways to propose.
"We’ve hidden rings in birdhouses along a nature walk, we’ve baked rings into desserts, we’ve cross stitched "Will you marry me?’ into pillows," said Christopher Place, innkeeper at An Intimate Resort in Newport, TN. "We have a wonderful time doing it." With the Internet, you can search out just the right B&B. If you want to travel or stay close to home you can find the location and atmosphere that best suit your needs.
