    With the development of globalization, Western culture is gradually creeping into Chinese culture. Some Western cultural elements, such as the Hollywood blockbusters, coffee and coca-cola, are packing into every corner of Chinese people’s daily life.
    How to view the combination of traditional Chinese culture and Western culture? Some people hold that it is in fact the result of the invasion of Western culture, and all Chinese people should say no to westernization. On the contrary, some people believe that Western culture is better than Chinese culture, and Chinese people ought to study the essence of Western culture.
    In my opinion, people should neither accept Western culture totally, nor turn it down completely. The best policy is to "discard the dross and select the essence", so as to take advantage of its virtue to serve for the development of our country.
