    As we can see in the picture, there’s already no complete tree left on the planet. A man is giving a slide presentation on tree in desert, with all of his audience sitting on tree stumps listening attentively. Apparently, the picture tries to alert us to the importance of forests.
    Forests play a vital role in keeping us human beings alive on the earth. For one thing, forests take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen, so that we can deal with problems like global warming and can breathe fresh air every day. For another, sandstorm would be a frequent occurrence and there would be less and less arable land if forests were destroyed or even gone.
    In my opinion, we have done way too much talking about the importance of forests, but forests protection is about doing. If we want to turn things around, we have to take action before it is too late.
