    This picture clearly reflects a national worship of foreign products. Most people seem to be rooted in the consciousness that products coming from foreign countries should be much more expensive than those made in our own country.
    Obviously, this kind of consciousness is not right. In the first place, China is still a developing country. Our economy needs the support of consumers, especially domestic consumers, to propel domestic demand and stimulate consumption. In the second place, foreign products don’t necessarily mean higher quality or more excellent design. Sometimes, these products are popular among Chinese just because of the culture behind the products. In the third place, we have an obligation to support domestic industry. We need to strengthen our domestic enterprises to reinforce our national force.
    To sum up, we should not worship foreign products blindly. Instead, we are supposed to keep a rational mind towards foreign products.
