    If I were asked about my favorite place. Shanghai would definitely come to my mind first. As an economic hub and cultural exchange center, Shanghai boasts of a pleasant environment, interesting people and intriguing scenic spots, all of which make me reluctant to leave.
    Located in the Yangtze River Delta in East China, Shanghai enjoys a rather enjoyable environment. In a humid climate, trees stand high along the roads, and bright flowers in full bloom cover the grassland. Whenever I go, I can always feast my eyes on the charming scenery.
    Thanks to a sound and stable economy and the convenient transportation. Shanghai attracts a large number of people from home and abroad. Coming from different cultural backgrounds, people in this metropolis tend to have an inclusive attitude toward each other.
    Also, there are numerous historical places of interest in Shanghai, such as the World Expo Center, the Bund, Yu Garden, to name just a few. In Shanghai, one can experience the history from ancient China to the modern world.
    In conclusion. Shanghai is my favorite place because of its agreeable environment, interesting people and places of interest.
