    Over the past decade, several cases of food safety have been disclosed on mass media. The problem of food safety has become a hot button in the society.
    There are several reasons for this phenomenon. To begin with, economic interests behind this undesirable tide is an obvious factor. Furthermore, the neglect of moral education gives rise to the rising of the problem. More importantly, the lack of adequate regulation and punishment on those illegal producers promotes the trend.
    As the saying goes, it is better late than never. In my opinion, prompt and strict measures should be taken to turn back this evil trend. The government should launch a massive moral campaign to educate all citizens and draw up tougher laws to crack down on those irresponsible corporations and prohibit them from entering the food industry again. I am convinced that through our joint efforts we are bound to enjoy more risk-free food in the future.
