    In order to preserve our environment, a new lifestyle—low-carbon living is being promoted around the world.
    It is universally acknowledged that low-carbon lifestyle is of significant importance for the whole world. For one thing, it will save our resources and help us to get rid of excessive amount of greenhouse gases. For another, it is beneficial to the sustainable development of our society, which enables subsequent generations to live a better and superior life.
    As college students, we should raise our awareness of environmental protection. When studying with a computer, we are supposed to turn off the programs that we aren’t working with and reduce the brightness of the screen as much as possible in order to save electricity. When going somewhere, we are supposed to go there on foot or by bike instead of driving a car. Only in this way can we own a better living environment.
