答案     Every year a few new stars rise in entertainment industry as well as in other areas and a far big number of people are always dreaming to be famous. There is a perception that the merits of being a celebrity come along with downsides. However, I believe that there are more benefits than problems brought about by being well-known.
First and foremost, being famous basically means being wealthier. In my country, not only do quite a few sports personalities make a fortune in their own area, but also they are paid millions of dollars to promote some brands. Actually manufacturers find the sales of the products are boosted when advertised by popular sportsmen or sportswomen as these talents have huge numbers of fans and followers.
Second, celebrities can enjoy some privileges that ordinary people can hardly imagine to experience. This is particularly true when a big event, like the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, is held and the entrance tickets are excessively demanded, the more famous a person is, the more likely he or she can get the entry, because celebrities are the preferred guests wherever they show up.
Admittedly, too much exposure to public means that celebrities can barely lead lives of an ordinary person and their behavior may be soon known worldwide. However, these problems can be countered by taking precautious measures to minimize the negative effects, such as hiring body guards and using wits to talk.
All in all, I think this difference between a celebrity and a normal person brings more pros than cons to most famous people. Therefore, why not fight everything possible for the difference?
