   It is not an easy task for companies to join the Climate Organization, whose mandates are to promote energy conservation and to cut down greenhouse gas emission. The requirements for accession to the Organization are high, and the application procedures are rigorous and time-consuming. To begin with, the companies themselves not only have to share the goals of the Organization in promoting a low-carbon life, but also need to fulfill their commitments through taking earnest actions. Or taking a manufacturing company for another example, does it take a low-carbon goals into consideration in its decision-making concerning energy consumption, raw material purchasing and other operations? In short, the companies will need to put in place a whole set of sophisticated regulations for their specific business practices so as to reach their objectives in fostering low-carbon business models. This will be a critical year in our initiatives to usher in low-carbon lives and to respond to climate change, in which we expect to see more and more individuals and businesses get involved in this ongoing low-carbon revolution.
