How much money is set in the cooperation fund for social and cultural exchanges

The Republic of Korea earmarked $970 million for the cooperation fund with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for next year, Seoul’s unification ministry said Monday. Set aside for humanitarian issues was $510 million, while $450 million was earmarked for economic cooperation between the two Koreas. For the social and cultural exchanges, $18.2 million was allotted.

In an interview with The Guardian, Professor Matthew Walker, director of the Centre for Human Sleep Science at the University of California, Berkeley, said that sleep deprivation affects "every aspect of our biology". Through his work, he’s determined that people who don’t get enough sleep tend to be less healthy and have lower energy levels than those who get the recommended amount of shut eye per night.
