At the top of the list for air travel safety is [br] [originaltext] New York

New York Senator Charles Schumer says air travel in the US is safer than it was before the September 11th terrorist attacks, but he says more could be done to increase security at airports and on jet liners.
   At the top of the list, of course, is better detection equipment, particularly for explosives, because the two greatest dangers we face in the air are shoulder-held missiles and somebody got forbid smuggling explosives on a plane, a suicide bomber.
