    In recent years, college towns have been thriving across China as a result of rapid economic and cultural development. Students hold different views on living in these remote areas of their cities.
    Many of them loathe the isolation from city life. They complain about the tedious experience of catching the shuttle bus to the outskirts every day. And what annoys them more is that they are detached from normal campus life and they find few teachers to interact with. However, quite a number of students argue that staying away from the bustling surroundings will eventually benefit their academic performance.
    As one of the students living in a college town, I have deeply experienced the inconvenience and monotony. Therefore, some measures should be taken so that more attention can be given to the students in the college town. On the one hand, more cultural events and recreation activities can be launched. On the other hand, a closer teacher-student relationship should be established so as to strengthen their communication.
