    Drug abuse among teenagers has become prevalent in recent years and it has caught more and more people’s attention. What are the reasons for this and what can be done to fight against it? Mom discussions arise around this issue.
    There are some reasons for young people to take drugs. Firstly, young people are naturally curious about everything, especially the strange end forbidden things, so it is hard for them to resist the temptation of curiosity and they may be attracted to have a try. In addition, some teenagers are under great pressure caused by various factors, end they want to depend on drugs to relieve their stress and escape from the reality. Furthermore, some young people are easily to be affected; they may be persuaded by their friends to take drugs or simply copy the behaviors of the peer.
    Considering the serious consequence of teenagers’ drug abuse, we should take action to combat it. More severe punishment should be imposed on drug dealers and users. What is more, we should give more care end consideration to the youth, making them well informed of the danger of drug abuse and providing them with character education. The whole society should take responsibilities to ensure the healthy growth of teenagers.
