    As is shown in the picture, a young lady is being stopped by a traffic officer for running red lights. In fact, it has become a common phenomenon for both the drivers and pedestrian to violate travel rules, driving in wrong directions, making unsafe u-turns at will, speeding and jaywalking, just to name a few.
    It is about time that people should be urged to seriously observe traffic rules as violation of them has resulted in much serious harm for not only the violators themselves but other innocent road users. According to statistics, every year large numbers of people get injured or are even killed due to violations of traffic rules. Furthermore, it is an illusion that breaking traffic rules can save time. Conversely, violating regulation disturbs regular traffic orders, which can only worsen the traffic and lead to traffic jams.
    So, for the sake of one’s life and time, we cannot emphasize the necessity of complying with traffic rules too much.
