    Traffic jams are very commonly-seen in big cities which become a big headache for the citizens. In rush hours, numerous cars get stuck on the road and the whole city is like a huge parking lot.
The driving restrictions therefore are put forward to alleviate the traffic problems in big cities. Implementing driving restrictions can cut down around half of the private cars on the road, which will help reduce the possibility of the traffic jams.
    I believe that the driving restriction can be effective; however, it is not the only way out. Since car ownership will continuously increase, the effects of this policy will be limited. Therefore, the government should seek other methods to address this issue. For example, applying reasonable road design and encouraging using public transport system can also help reduce the pressure on the road.
