    The rapid development of the Internet has enabled more and more people to turn to telecommuting instead of going to the office every day. These people hold that home working can be convenient, flexible and free. Another big benefit of telecommuting is that it can get rid of the interruptions of co-workers as well as the treatment of complex interpersonal relations. Thus, these supporters believe that telecommuting will be a tendency in workplace.
    However, opponents of telecommuting don’t think it will become a popular working style. In their views, telecommuting deprives the employees of face-to-face communication with others, which is disadvantageous to social life. In addition, once any problem in work arises, it’s impossible to discuss it with others immediately. In that case, telecommuting can be very difficult and frustrating.
    Therefore, I have to say that telecommuting, like a coin, has two sides. It can provide convenience and satisfaction, but it may bring problems and trouble as well. Hence, telecommuting still has a long way to go to become popular.
