Kaleidoscope
by Emma Graham
After a stressful week at work, it is always nice to drop by the spa to relax and recharge. For more than three years now, spa treatments have helped me fight fatigue. All the while, I thought I had been enjoying the greatest spa services in the area, but that notion changed when I visited the Red Sea Spa.
The newest spa in the metropolitan area offers a variety of hydrotherapy massages. The Red Sea Spa resembles a water theme park with ten swimming pools, providing soft, moderate, and hard massages using only water pressure. Among my favorite spots in the premises is the hydro-acupuncture pool. It squirts warm water that gives a pricking sensation similar to what is experienced during real acupuncture treatment. The pool works well to soothe sore muscles.
The water spa is also equipped with basic amenities, such as saunas and facial rooms. It also has pools for children, as well as dining facilities serving American and Italian dishes. Regarding the service, the spa employs a pleasant and accommodating staff to ensure that guests enjoy their visit.
If you want a different relaxation experience with your family and friends, then the Red Sea Spa is the place to go. And from June 1 through the end of August, the spa is giving away free gym towels with the cost of admission. The Red Sea Spa is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. [br] What is suggested about Emma Graham?
选项
A、She writes dining reviews for a publication.
B、She frequently seeks out spa services.
C、She recently returned from a holiday.
D、She was disappointed with the Red Sea Spa.
答案
B
解析
本题为关于核心词Emma Graham的推断题。原文中提到“For more than three years now,spa treatments have helped me fight fatigue. All the while,I thought I had been enjoying the greatest spa services in the area…”,即到目前为止三年多的时间里,温泉疗法对于艾玛·格雷汉姆克服疲劳很有帮助,并且艾玛·格雷汉姆认为在这期间一直享受着最棒的温泉服务,因此可以推断她经常去享受温泉服务。因此(B)She frequently seeks out spa services.是正确答案。
