答案                     What Can I Offer to Society?
    In the 21st century, new science and technology is occurring continuously, which brings China more challenges. Among these challenges, lack of talents is the key one. As a postgraduate who majors in education, what I can offer to society through Chinese education is a question always haunting in my mind.
    First of all, I have to be aware of the Chinese educational situation at present. China’s academia inclines to be more and more ostentatious and theoretical study is often divorced from the real situation. So it is my duty to focus my study on solving China’s current educational problems and make good efforts to conquer such an inclination.
    Secondly, confronted with fierce international competition, we must take actions at once, such as learning from other countries, especially in the field of education and cultivating talents; introducing good talent-fostering systems from abroad and making them serve China. My major is in comparative education and this is the fundamental goal of my study.
    In conclusion, what I can offer to the society is to make full use of my study to find out how to provide more talents for China’s construction.
