    With the development of contemporary society, a worrying social problem has sprung up that the degree of trust among individuals has decreased. For example, a lady who found a cell phone and planned to return it to the owner was thought of having ulterior motives. A person who sent an injured and insensible man to hospital was not trusted and accused falsely.
    Influenced by these phenomena, there would be many unfavorable consequences. First and foremost, people become invariably increasing cautious about other’s guarantee, even a piece of word. As a result of the fact that people don’t want to help strangers. At last, if this matter is not properly settled, it will pose a threat to the long-term social stability and solidarity.
    It is high time that we called on the efforts from all sides to deal with this problem properly. First, the government should intensify the construction of social trust, and create a good environment of trust, and also induct the public into establishing of trust concept. Second, the mass media should also play a positive role in restoring mutual trust. Third, parents and teachers should first set an example to the children; seize every chance to stimulate affection in the hearts of them. Finally, as for individual, we should try to trust others and be honest. Give our hands to the one who needs help. In this way, I do believe the trust between people will return.
