    When we take a look around us.it is hard to ignore the fact that Chinese elements could be found almost everywhere, from the design of electronic devices.to the clothes in many occasions, from the stories in even western movies, to the style of buildings beyond the national boundaries. And we find it hard to resist the temptation to feel good about our cultures, and easily come to the conclusion that traditional Chinese culture is on the rise all over again, but is the case really that simple?
    Some people argue that the rise of Chinese economic power and political influence in the international community is the major reason behind this phenomenon and we have every reason to believe that the trend will continue. The significantly high quality of the traditional Chinese culture obviously is the most important reason for the prosperity of the cultural elements in every aspect of our life, and economic opportunities surly push the cultural and ethnical identification forward, allowing and encouraging the Chinese people to express their pride in their ethnical origin and the cultures it produced, loudly and clearly. And all these traditional Chinese elements expressed in so many ways surely will in turn promote the culture itself. Another reason for them to the believe in the real rise of our own culture is the fact that many educators are now turning to wisdom in traditional culture to guide our own life and try to find out the solutions to the problems we are faced with today, such as how to educate the younger generation, how to treat people around us and how to live a balanced and meaningful life.
    While others are expressing the worries that this is nothing but an illusion, and all the businesses involved in the products design and promotion are merely adopting a marketing strategy, no different from other forms of advertising campaigns. They insist that cultural identification can only be cultivated by the culture itself, and only when the real content of our traditional culture can be understood and appreciated by a large proportion of our population, can we say that our traditional culture is on the rise. And only after the wisdom in our traditional culture is guiding our life, can we conclude that our traditional culture is really accepted by our general public once again.
    Personally speaking, I do agree with the idea that some commercial factors are playing their role in the cultural phenomena we witness today, but we should also be faithful with the quality and general application of our traditional culture in our contemporary world. Although the enterprises are now relying on the cultural elements as a way to gain economic benefits, and some other citizens only turn to the traditional culture for help when the need is urgent and alternatives are exhausted, we can still count on this trend as a means of promotion. Since after the businesses really appreciate our culture, and when the general public find out that traditional culture is a pool full of resources and wisdom, that will be the time our traditional culture really step back into our daily life and become our guidance.
