    Nowadays, there are countless fake commodities on the market. They do harm to both consumers and society. If a patient buys fake medicine, it is possible that the medicine is useless in curing his disease. What’s worse, it might cause his death. Moreover, fake commodities will possibly squeeze the genuine products out of the market, which will put the development of the market in disorder. Therefore, everyone should do his best to fight against fake commodities.
    First, manufacturers of genuine products should be responsible for their products. Once they find fake commodities with the same brands as theirs, they must report to the organizations concerned, warn consumers not to buy them, and teach them how to distinguish the fake from the genuine. Second, consumers must learn to protect their own interests and not to be led astray by false advertisements. If any fake commodity is found, just inform the relative supervising departments immediately. Only by doing so can the government take effective measures to drive fake commodities out of the market and protect consumers’ rights. Last but not least, those who produce or sell fake commodities should be severely punished.
    All in all, fake commodities have negative impact on both consumers and society. We should eliminate them from the market.
