    I have to say that I don’t approve of either of them. On the one hand, marks don’t mean anything. A high mark doesn’t ensure your capability at work and to pass an exam doesn’t mean you’ve completed a course. On the other hand, your vision will be too much narrowed and you will miss the true meaning of study if you fix all your attention on exams.
    I think the purpose of study is to broaden your mind, promote your intelligence, cultivate your soul, internalize your values, and etc. Learning from failures or mistakes is also significant for growth. Therefore, it is better to concern yourself about what you’ve learned from the course than how many scores you’ve got from the test.
