Counting on his own efforts, he carries on his study and has made great achievements.     Another example is the athletes participating in National Games of the Disabled. They rely on themselves to win others’ respect and admiration. They cherish the importance of self-reliance and are rewarded.
    All in all, many examples can prove the truth indicated in this proverb—it is self-dependence that helps us withstand storms.
