    It is said that we can learn from people at a higher level than us, for example teachers, than those who are at the same level as us. I strongly believe that there is a point in such a statement.
    First, people at a higher level here do not refer to those of mere greater age, seniority or social status. It is the maturity of the soul that measures which kind of people we can learn from and rest upon. Take the story between Aristotle and Alexander the Great as an example. Overbearing as he was as a king, Alexander respected Aristotle, a pagan from another polis, as his teacher. By repeatedly seeking advice from Aristotle, he expanded the presence of his military forces even towards the Asian and African continents. It is the mental support from his teacher that realized his ambition.
    No one in the world can be perfect. And that is why we should learn from others, especially from those who are wiser, more insightful and more intelligent. Learning from them can make us better improve ourselves.
