    Studying abroad has come into fashion in China. Many undergraduates at colleges and universities regard studying abroad as the highest pursuit for their four years of college life. And a big percentage of postgraduates go directly to some prestigious higher educational institutions in foreign countries upon graduation. Moreover, quite a number of students, when there is a chance, even stop halfway here in order to go abroad as early as possible.
    Why do we have so many Chinese youths studying abroad? First of all, the advanced laboratories and sophisticated apparatuses are so appealing to them. Secondly, the better living standards abroad serve as another irresistible attraction. Thirdly, better job opportunities will be waiting for them when they come back after studying abroad.
    If I have a chance to study abroad, I will not let go of it. Actually, I have already passed my TOFEL and GRE tests, and presently I’m applying to a few well-known American universities.
