    Nowdays, a hot topic which people are talking about is the expansion of college enrollment. This new step taken by the government benefits individuals, institutions of higher learning, and the nation as well. First, the expansion meets people’s growing need for higher education and the general public receive the direct benefits. High school graduates are delighted with the news, because they’ll have more chance to attend college. Second, the expansion does good to our country, too. It’ll stimulate consumption, and most important of all, with the expansion, our country will have more well-educated citizens and professionals, which is vital to the development of the country. Last, the new policy provides a good chance of development for colleges and universities.
    However, while people are cheering the policy, some colleges and universities are faced with problems arising in the process of expansion. For example, some don’t have enough accommodation, classrooms, teaching facilities and teaching staff.
    How to solve these problems? Obviously, one possible solution is to build more student dormitories and more classroom buildings. The difficulty is where to get the money? I think, the expansion itself has brought more funds than before. In addition, the local government should contribute some. With the combination of the two sources, these colleges and universities can overcome the difficulties.
