    In the last few years, it has been more and more common that students hire housekeepers to do all the grunt work in some colleges. The housekeepers  charge accordingly, taking the hardship of the work into consideration. For instance. clothes washing is 0.5 Yuan pet piece, floor sweeping 0.5 Yuan per hour, and sheet washing one Yuan per piece..
    The "employers" have all kinds of excuses for this. Some say that they are busy studying, so the5 have no time left for the cleaning things. Others claim that they are only child in their families, therefore, they don’t know how to do housework, even simple tasks such as washing clothes.
    I am ashamed of them and their deeds. We university students are supposed  to be the most talented and capable people among the youth. But if the students depend on their parents at home and rely on these housekeepers in the university, how can they have the basic ability to be self-reliantafter graduation? How can such students survive in today’s competitive world? How can we expect them to make a contribution to the country? just as an  old Chinese proverb goes: "If one doesn’t clean a room, how can be clean the world?"
