Dear Ms. Andersen,
    I hope you are finding your trip to Sweden interesting and productive. I look forward to hearing about it when you return in two weeks.
    You will be relieved to hear that everything is running smoothly in the office. Our guests from China are scheduled to leave at 4 pm today, so I will go to the airport to see them off. The negotiations went very well, and we have successfully secured a purchasing agreement with their company. For your interest, I have attached a copy of the final deal with this email.
    In other news, the accounting department has finished putting together the budget report for this quarter. The document will be sent to the board for approval tomorrow. I have taken a look at the report, and it looks very promising. The best news is that our decision to relocate to our new Quadrant Lane headquarters is paying off, as our overhead costs are predicted to be significantly lower than they were for our downtown property.
    Lastly, the public relations department is putting together the program for our new product launch. It looks as though the event will be held at the function room in St. Vivian’s Shopping Center next Friday.

    Thank you for your email. It sounds like you have everything under control. After reviewing the attached document you sent, I was very pleased with the deal you managed to strike with the Chinese manufacturing firm. You deserve great praise for your efforts.
    The only concern I have is about the product launch next Friday. I recall going to a function at St. Vivian’s Shopping Center last year and being very disappointed with the facilities. Instead, I recommend that the event be held at Henderson Mall. There is a wonderful function room there fully equipped with modern amenities. Moreover, the catering there is delicious and reasonably priced. I think the event will run much more successfully at that location.
